Guild Wars has a problem with its living story campaign. Polygon detailed the second of four parts of the living story line we’re currently in. Here’s a snippet.
Guild Wars 2 will add its second content update Flame and Frost: The Gathering Storm on Feb. 26, according to the game’s official website.
As the second installment in the four-part series, it will have a new PvP map called Spirit, a “peaceful green vale, nestled between cliffside shrines,” where players can also score bonus points by capturing the Orb of Ascension and running it to shrines. New guild missions include bounties, group puzzles and cross country challenges.
After reading Polygon’s story, I know everything that is going on in the world of Tyria except what is going on in the realm of the living story. You know, the part that they’re promoting. You know, the part that’s interesting to non-PvP players? That one.
I have no problem with Polygon here, they are simply telling us what they know. I played through what I could of the first installment of Flame & Frost, but I really had no idea what was going on. When Polygon details the next installment, I would like to know what to expect. I am not in the Guild Wars loop anymore because ArenaNet makes it just so hard to understand what is going on with the game without playing the game for hours and hours. I’m an extremely casual player, I literally play for twenty minutes while our weekly podcasts are rendering on the other monitor.
In your next press release for the Living Story, please, review a little bit about the previous chapter and tell me a little on what may happen, so I can decide if I need to make time this week to play.
