Have you tried looking at Radeon cards? The past 2-3 generations or so (since the 5000 series) have models that support up to 6 displayport monitors at a time.
I have. AMD/ATI cards are great and all, other computers have them in the house, but my tower from 2009 uses Nvidia. I would like to continue doing that for my own desktops.
I might be splurging myself with a third monitor soon… and a GTX 680 :P
I am unfortunately poor and I am not really a gamer, so I can live with a 660. But monitors! I need more.
