New York Times, Errol Morris:
The conscious awareness of Comic Sans promotes — at least among some people — contempt and summary dismissal. But is there a font that promotes, engenders a belief that a sentence is true? Or at least nudges us in that direction? And indeed there is.
It is Baskerville.
Through a study where the sample was comprised of engaged smart and computer-using readers, we now know which font among many to write papers for college in. Typefaces catch my eye and everyone knows I love the smooth lines of the sans-serif, but maybe Baskerville has its place.
