OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (BUSINESS WIRE), July 16, 2012 – Sprint (NYSE:S), the first national wireless carrier to introduce 4G service in 2008, today announced that it is delivering the speed and power of an all-new 4G LTE network to 15 cities surrounding the Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City and San Antonio markets.
- Funny. I just bought a phone that uses Sprint’s legacy WiMax network. Funny.
- Funny. 4G LTE was primarily deployed in southern regional cities.
Besides that, the first to introduce the losing 4G service in 2008 probably does not deserve a medal and a pat on the back.
