FaceTime Charge on AT&T in iOS 6

Like it does with the iOS Personal Hotspot feature, U.S. carrier AT&T appears set to control and charge for the iOS 6 FaceTime over Cellular feature.

My understanding of how this works: AT&T will charge you for 2GB, for example, of data you may or may not use and then charge you again if you go over that. If you want to use FaceTime, which would rely on the same set of data (that 2GB), you need to pay to unlock it and still continue to pay for the 2GB of data.

Something stinks here.
