I was reading ZDnet’s story about the tenth anniversary of Apple Stores. In their story, they also linked to the video of Steve Jobs giving an introduction and walk through of the first Apple Store in Glendale, California. It’s hard to imagine that this was ten years ago.

The groundwork for the future was already known and being built into Apple Stores back in 2001. Somebody thought MP3 players and handheld organizers were going to be important. And look, six years later, a portable handheld organizer phone player was unveiled.
