The DLink website says that it’s a discontinued product and that if you want any product manuals, drivers or anything, you’ll have to call support. That wasn’t going to happen. So, I went to google to look for drivers.
When you install Windows XP with Service Pack 3 and the DLink driver for the card from the CD, you get two error messages. The popular instruction is to update to dwl-g510 rev b.  Of course, the DLink does not have that either.
Oddly, when you search for the driver for dwl-g510 driver (those are the keywords), you get the Australian DLink site which has the rev c driver for Vista. Not trusting that, I continued to look for rev b. I DriverCollection claimed to have it but it simply directs you to the main DLink site. DriveGuide wasn’t much better. I eventually found something that helped though. I can’t remember where I found it either.
DLink should support their products for longer or at least keep the drivers for them in publicly accessible places.
